Maths doubt solving, one clear step at a time
Photograph a maths problem, type it or say it. ClarifyBro solves it step by step and explains why each step works, in a short animated video in your language and matched to your class and board. Ask again, in a different way, until it clicks.
Solve: x² − 5x + 6 = 0
How ClarifyBro explains it, scene by scene:
- 1Spot the type
This is a quadratic equation: the highest power of x is 2. We can solve it by factorising.
- 2Find two numbers
We need two numbers that multiply to +6 and add to −5. Those are −2 and −3.
- 3Factorise
Split the middle term: x² − 2x − 3x + 6 = x(x − 2) − 3(x − 2) = (x − 2)(x − 3).
- 4Set each factor to zero
x − 2 = 0 or x − 3 = 0, so x = 2 or x = 3.
- 5Check
Put x = 2: 4 − 10 + 6 = 0. Put x = 3: 9 − 15 + 6 = 0. Both roots work.
Answer x = 2 or x = 3
